Curator’s notes
This very entertaining piece is not a sporting film but rather a delightful insight into the indomitable spirit of the underdog. The coach and the president of the club resign, the players sustain injuries and they constantly lose matches. The fans are unflinching in their loyalty. Producer and director Michael Cordell’s credits include Drama School, Bondi, Street Practice, The Track and Ken Done.
