Curator’s notes
You’ll love this documentary if you love old-time dancing; the barn dance, the waltz and the quickstep. It’s not like the ballroom dancing of Dancing with the Stars. It’s mum and dad enjoying a night out with friends from around the district. It’s slow paced for our modern sensibility, but as a slice of history, it’s marvellous. The hairstyles, the outfits and the band!!
