When the Lights Go Out: Cockroaches, a Domestic History (1994)
Length: 27 minutes
Synopsis
A documentary about the cockroach. Scientists talk about its survival instincts, families react to its presence and we go on a tour of a roach’s domestic life. The film consists of interviews, animation and graphics, people overreacting to the insect and fanciful recreations of the roach’s point-of-view.
Curator’s notes
The documentary is amusing and informative.
