Curator’s notes
The documentary successfully provides information with an accessible story line. There are also well made dramatic sequences, and astonishing close-up shots of spiders.
The cinematographer–director Jim Frazier patented a revolutionary lens that can hold subjects in focus from the front of the lens to infinity. It is now used throughout the world.
