Synopsis

The film looks at a number of people from an Indian community in Northern New South Wales who have chosen to marry outside their own ethnic community, and the effects of that on themselves and their families.

Curator’s notes

The documentary is an interesting insight into the social and cultural changes in an Indian community in Northern NSW, where traditional arranged marriages and maintenance of faith are being challenged by contemporary Australian influences.
