Curator’s clip description

Margaret Pomeranz is reviewing the new Rolf de Heer film Ten Canoes. Excerpts from the film illustrate her words.

Curator’s notes

Margaret Pomeranz reviews the film with verve, and delights in Rolf de Heer’s risk taking. She loves the character of the landscape in the film and the sly humour. There are skilfully inserted moments from the film to illustrate her words, so that we are offered a feast of breathtaking shots of the landscape and a moment of subtitled humour. These film clips add enormously to our understanding of each review and make Margaret and David Stratton’s program a feast for the eyes each week.
