Curator’s clip description

Emerging film producers Jason Gooden and Julian Saggers have applied to a bank to borrow $240,000 to continue making their under-funded feature film. Jason explains that the bank thinks it is a housing loan. He ends by saying ‘we will be paying for the film for the next 25 years’.

Curator’s notes

The interview is recorded in the middle of a five-year ordeal, making a film that should have taken 18 months. We also learn that the schedule and the script are not ready.
