Max’s friend and fellow patrolman Jim Goose (Steve Bisley) opens the throttle on a morning ride – unaware that his bike has been tampered with by one of the Toecutter’s gang.
Curator’s notes
A classic example of George Miller’s awesome technique with film montage. Note that suspense is achieved without fast cuts, until the final moments. Some of the shots last more than 10 seconds. The bike is a Kawasaki KZ 1000 with custom fairings.
