Curator’s clip description

In this animated segment of Lift Off, children’s voices are heard discussing a question – when is rubbish, rubbish? As they ponder the question, exploring it from many different perspectives their ideas are animated in a variety of ways.

Curator’s notes

The Lift off Munch kids segment uses the voices of children recorded discussing a topic, and wrestling with some big questions. Developed through a philosophy program for children, their words are interpreted in a variety of interesting animated forms, including paper cut-outs, real objects, line drawings, painting, newsprint and photographs, so as the children explore the question, their unscripted insights become alive and dynamic.
