Synopsis

The documentary looks at a year in the life of several echidnas on Kangaroo Island off the coast of South Australia. The film captures the life cycle from egg to mature adult. The short-beaked echidna (Tachyglossus aculaetus) is a monotreme in that it lays eggs and suckles its young.
