Curator’s clip description

Franky (Hunter Page) and Maddie (Alexa Miller) are walking along the railroad track. Eddy (Blake Herczeg) pulls up in a taxi and urges Franky to get into the cab because they are late. They arrive at the Dreamtime Culture Centre. Charo (Ben Mazza) is waiting at the entrance to the stage, and calls Franky in. The boys and songman Scotty (Scott Angeles) quickly begin to prepare for their performance.

Curator’s notes

Wonderful performances from the child actors, many of whom have not acted before, reveal the rapport the director Wayne Blair had with his young performers. The energy and enthusiasm of the young cast are the driving force of this drama.
