Curator’s clip description

Sue Charlton (Linda Kozlowski) has been kidnapped by Colombian drug boss Luis Rico. Mick has intercepted the film that Rico wants, so he waits for a contact. The assassin is swiftly taken out, and he tells Mick where they’re holding Sue. As DEA agent Brannigan (Kenneth Welsh) arrives at Sue’s apartment, Mick makes a quick and spectacular exit.

Curator’s notes

The second film has more physical action than the first, perhaps at the expense of the humour. The story is more like a thriller plot, which requires Dundee to become much more the action hero. Paul Hogan appears to have enjoyed the challenges; that looks like him crashing through the window, rather than a stuntman.
