Blinky’s (Robyn Moore) fire brigade has put out a dangerous fire and, although he is in trouble with his mother, Mrs Koala (also Robyn Moore), everyone now thinks his fire brigade is a good idea – including Miss Magpie (Robyn Moore), who thinks it’s her idea to donate the school bell for the fire bell.
Curator’s notes
This clip captures the essence of the Blinky Bill series. Young Blinky’s mischievous enthusiasm and his adventures often upset some of the residents of Greenpatch Hill, particularly poor Miss Magpie, but the stories always end positively, with Blinky having redeemed himself yet again.
