Curator’s clip description

Australian dancer Betty Pounder advises that great theatre only comes when everyone involved is passionate about what they are doing. She believes that when theatre is controlled by business people, the audience suffers. She admires Graham Murphy’s work.

Curator’s notes

Pounder passionately expresses her belief in the importance of passion for success in the theatre, even at the expense of family life.
