Curator’s clip description

After smoking a lot of dope, Trevor (David Argue) asks Kath about the crime she’s charged with – murdering a publican. Kath (Lydia Miller) tells them the real story. Nikki (Gia Carides) asks her why she ran away to Sydney, rather than telling the police what really happened. Trevor says he understands her decision to run. Kath begins to look at him differently.

Curator’s notes

One of the things that attracts Kath to Trevor is that he’s not naïve like Nikki. He’s an experienced, if corrupt, policeman, a realist. He knows how things work, especially in outback towns where a black person is suspected of killing a white. Later that night, Kath goes to Trevor’s ‘bed’ in the shearing shed.
